kārṣikāṇyudakaprasthe paktvā pādāvaśeṣitam/
pānīyārthaṃ prayuñjīta yavāgūṃ taiśca sādhayet//
one karṣa each, having cooked in a prastha of water, reduced to a fourth, / one should employ it as drinking water, and with them one should prepare gruel.
