grahaṇīṃ dīpayatyeva &bṛṃhaṇaḥ kaphapittajit/
śothaṃ kuṣṭhaṃ kilāsaṃ ca pramehāṃśca praṇāśayet//
iti madhūkāsavaḥ/
madhūkapuṣpasvarasaṃ śṛtamardhakṣayīkṛtam/
kṣaudrapādayutaṃ śītaṃ pūrvavat sannidhāpayet//

It certainly stimulates the grahaṇī; it is nourishing, conquers kapha and pitta, / and removes swelling, dermatosis, kilāsa, and urinary disorders.
Thus ends madhūkāsava.
Fresh juice of madhūka flowers, boiled and reduced by half, / combined with a fourth part of honey, cooled, one should store as before.
