vātakṛdvā kaphaharaṃ kaphakṛdvā 'anilāpaham/
kāryaṃ naikāntikaṃ tābhyāṃ prāyaḥ śreyo 'anilāpaham//
Treatment that increases vāta while removing kapha, or increases kapha while removing wind, / should not be used exclusively; between the two, what removes wind is generally preferable.
