tarpayedeva śamanaiḥ snehayūṣarasādibhiḥ//
Those with vāta disorders, the weak, the young, and the elderly / one should simply nourish with vāta-destroying pacifying agents: unctuous substances, vegetable broths, meat broths, and the like.
