6.18.107

mahiṣyajāvigokṣīradhātrīphalarasaiḥ samaiḥ/
sarpiḥ siddhaṃ pibedyuktyā pittakāsanibarhaṇam//
iti pittakāsacikitsā/
balinaṃ vamanairādau śodhitaṃ kaphakāsinam/
yavānnaiḥ kaṭurūkṣoṣṇaiḥ kaphaghnaiścāpyupācaret//

Ghee prepared with equal parts of the milk of buffalo, goat, sheep, and cow, and the juice of dhātrī fruit, / one should drink properly as a destroyer of pitta cough. / Thus ends the treatment of pitta cough. / Having first purified a strong patient suffering from kapha cough with emetics, / one should treat [them] with barley foods that are pungent, dry, hot, and kapha-destroying.
