tamakaḥ kaphakāse tu syāccet pittānubandhajaḥ/
pittakāsakriyāṃ tatra yathāvasthaṃ prayojayet//
If, however, in kapha cough there should be tamaka born from an association with pitta, / there one should apply the treatment for pitta cough according to the stage.
