etānyagnivivṛddhyarthaṃ sarpīṃṣi kṣayakāsinām/
syurdoṣabaddhakoṣṭhoraḥsrotasāṃ ca viśuddhaye//
These ghees serve to increase the digestive fire for those suffering from cough born of wasting, / and to purify the abdomen, chest, and channels blocked by the doṣas.
