The Compendium of Caraka 6.18.34

6.18.34

bastibhirbaddhaviḍvātaṃ śuṣkordhṛvaṃ cordhvabhaktikaiḥ/
ghṛtaiḥ sapittaṃ sakaphaṃ jayet snehavirecanaiḥ//

One should conquer [cough] where feces and flatus are retained with enemata; dry [cough] in the upper region with [ghees taken] after meals; / and that with pitta and with kapha with unctuous purgatives.
