tasmādvirekamevādau śastaṃ vidyādvisarpiṇaḥ/
rudhirasyāvasekaṃ ca taddhyasyāśrayasaṃjñitam//
Therefore, one should consider purgation alone to be commended first for one suffering from visarpa, / as well as the evacuation of blood, for that is called its seat.
