yathāsannaṃ vikārasya vyadhayedāśu vā sirām/
tvaṅmāṃsasnāyusaṃkledo raktakledāddhi jāyate//
Or one should swiftly puncture a vein near the lesion, / for maceration of the skin, flesh, and sinews arises indeed from the maceration of blood.
