dūṣīviṣaṃ tu śoṇitaduṣṭyāruḥkiṭimakoṭhaliṅgaṃ ca/
viṣamekaikaṃ doṣaṃ saṃdūṣya haratyasūnevam//
Latent poison, through corruption of the blood, shows signs such as sores, kiṭima, and wheals; / poison, corrupting each dosha one by one, thus steals away the breath of life.
