aujasyavihate pūrvo hṛdi ca pratibodhite/
madhyamo vihate 'alpe ca vihate tūttamo madhaḥ//
When ojas is unimpaired and the heart is awakened, the first [stage of intoxication occurs]; / when it is moderately impaired, the middle [occurs]; and when it is completely impaired, the highest intoxication [occurs].
