tṛtīyaṃ tu madaṃ prāpya bhagndārviva niṣkriyaḥ/
madamohāvṛtamanā jīvannapi mṛtaiḥ samaḥ//
Reaching the third intoxication, however, he lies motionless like a broken timber, / his mind veiled by intoxication and stupor; though alive, he is equal to the dead.
