sūkṣmānanā bahusrāvāḥ koṣavantaśca ye vraṇāḥ/
na ca marmāśritāsteṣāmeṣaṇaṃ hitamucyate//
Those wounds which have a small orifice, copious discharge, and internal cavities, / and do not reside in vital points, probing is declared beneficial for them.
