śuklopadehaṃ bahupicchilāśru netraṃ kaphāt syādgurutā sakaṇḍuḥ/
sarvāṇi rūpāṇi tu sannipātānnetrāmayāḥ ṣaṇṇavatistu bhedāt//
from kapha the eye has white coating, much slimy tearing, heaviness, and itching; / and from a combination of all three, all symptoms appear. Eye diseases are ninety-six through subdivision.
