jvaraḥ prāpnoti vātādyairdeho yāvanna dūṣyati/
dehe cābhiha(dru)te pūrvaṃ vātādyairna tathā balam//

as long as the body is not corrupted by vāta and the other [doṣas].
And when the body is attacked first by vāta and the other [doṣas], fever does not obtain such strength
