śothaḥ saṃjāyate tena kaścideva pramucyate/
raktāvasecanaiḥ śīghraṃ sarpiṣpānaiśca taṃ jayet//
swelling arises at the root of the ear, from which hardly anyone is freed.
One should conquer it quickly by bloodletting and by having him drink ghee,
