sekapradehau raktasthe tathā saṃśamanāni ca/
virecanaṃ sopavāsaṃ māṃsamedaḥsthite hitam//

sprinkling and poultices when it is situated in the blood, and likewise soothing measures (śamana);
purgation together with fasting is beneficial when it is situated in muscle or fat;
