pūrvarūpamadhiṣṭhānaṃ balakālātmalakṣaṇam/
vyāsato &vidhibhedācca pṛthagbhinnasya cākṛtim//
&`vidhivedaṃ ca' iti pā-.
liṅgamāmasya jīrṇasya sauṣadhaṃ ca kriyākramam/
vimuñcataḥ praśāntasya cihnaṃ yacca pṛthak pṛthak//

its prodromes, location, and the characteristics of its strength and timing, / and in detail its form when classified separately according to type of classification, / the signs of the unripe and the mature [fever], the course of therapy along with remedies, / and the distinct signs when it is departing and when it has been pacified;
