mūlāni puṣpāṇi ca vārijānāṃ pralepanaṃ puṣkariṇīmṛdaśca/
udumbarāśvatthamadhūkalodhrāḥ kaṣāyavṛkṣāḥ śiśirāṃśca sarve//
Roots and flowers of aquatic plants, a paste of mud from lotus ponds,
udumbara, aśvattha, madhūka, lodhra, and all astringent and cooling trees [should be applied as external pastes].
