mārgau doṣānubandhaṃ ca nidānaṃ prasamīkṣya ca/
laṅghanaṃ raktapittādau tarpaṇaṃ vā prayojayet//
Having thoroughly examined the two tracts, the secondary dosha involved, and the cause,
one should employ fasting or a refreshing drink at the beginning of bleeding disorder.
