6.6.43

droṇe 'ambhasaḥ karṣasamāni paktvā pūte caturbhāgajalāvaśeṣe/
rase 'ardhabhāgaṃ madhunaḥ pradāya pakṣaṃ nidheyo ghṛtabhājanasthaḥ//

boiling one karṣa of each in a droṇa of water, straining it when one-fourth part of the water remains, / and adding half a part of honey to the decoction, it should be kept placed in a ghee vessel for a fortnight.
