sādhyāḥ kaphotthā daśa, pittajāḥ ṣaṭ yāpyā, na sādhyaḥ pavanāccatuṣkaḥ/
samakriyatvādviṣamakriyatvānmahātyayatvācca yathākramaṃ te//
The ten arising from kapha are curable; the six born of pitta are manageable; the quartet from wind is incurable: / because of similarity of treatment, dissimilarity of treatment, and fatal nature respectively.
