Fomented with comfortable, warm poultices of meats of marshland and aquatic creatures, / the raised kuṣṭha should be scraped with a sharp instrument. / Or, for bringing forth blood, one should apply horns or gourds to the kuṣṭha; / or, having scarified a minor kuṣṭha, one should purge it by means of leeches. / Those pastes which are applied for kuṣṭhas whose blood and doṣas have been expelled / and whose internal cavities have been cleansed yield immediate success.
