kaphapittodbhave 'apyādau vamanaṃ savirecanam/
snigdhasvinnasya kartavyaṃ śuddhe saṃsarjanakramaḥ//

In that arising from kapha and pitta, vomiting along with purgation should first be performed / after the patient is oleated and fomented; when he is purified, the restorative regimen of diet [should be followed].
