hṛdindriyaśiraḥkoṣṭhe saṃśuddhe vamanādibhiḥ/
manaḥprasādamāpnoti smṛtiṃ saṃjñāṃ ca vindati//
When the heart, sense organs, head, and gastrointestinal tract are thoroughly cleansed by emesis and the like, / the mind attains clarity, and he recovers memory and consciousness.
