pīte &prasraṃsane doṣānna nirhatya jarāṃ gate/
vamite cauṣadhe dhīraḥ pāyayedauṣadhaṃ punaḥ//
When a downward purgative has been drunk and undergoes digestion without having eliminated the doshas, / or when the medicine has been vomited, the prudent physician should make him drink the medicine again.
