evaṃ jñātvā vidhiṃ dhīro deśakālapramāṇavit/
virecanaṃ virecyebhyaḥ prayacchannāparādhyati//
Knowing the procedure thus, the steadfast [physician], knowing the measures of habitat and time, / does not err when administering purgation to those fit to be purged.
