8.12.15

teṣāṃ siddhiḥ---tatroccair bhāṣyātibhāṣyajānāmabhyaṅgasvedopanāhadhūmanasyoparibhaktasnehapānarasakṣīrādirvātaharaḥ sarvo vidhirmaunaṃ ca

Their successful treatment [is as follows]:—There, for those born of speaking loudly and speaking excessively, [the remedy is] massage, fomentation, poultice, smoking, errhine, drinking unctuous substances after a meal, meat broth, milk, and so forth—every procedure that pacifies vāta—and silence.
