sa śāstramanyadapyāśu yuktijñatvāt prabudhyate/
adhīyāno 'api śāstrāṇi tantrayuktyā& vinā bhiṣak/
nādhigacchati śāstrārthānarthān bhāgyakṣaye yathā//
understands another treatise also quickly because he knows the yuktis. / Even though studying treatises, a physician without the tantrayuktis / does not grasp the meanings of the treatises, just as [one fails to grasp] riches when good fortune wanes.
