hṛḍhastanurnaṣṭasiro vigandhaḥ kaṣāyaraktaḥ sumṛduḥ &suśuddhaḥ/
nṛṇāṃ vayo vīkṣya yathānurūpaṃ retreṣu yojyastu subaddhamūtraḥ//
Firm, thin, devoid of veins, free of foul odor, tanned with astringent decoction, very soft, and thoroughly cleansed,
it should be attached to the pipes according to the age of the patients, with its urinary canal tightly bound.
