8.3.16

prakṣipya bastau mathitaṃ khajena &subaddhamucchvāsya ca nirvalīkam/
aṅguṣṭhamadhyena mukhaṃ pidhāya netrāgrasaṃsthāmapanīya vartim//

Having poured it into the bladder, churned it with a churning stick, tied it tightly, inflated it, and freed it of folds,
covering the orifice with the center of the thumb, and having removed the wick placed at the tip of the pipe,
