8.3.23

dāhātisārau lavaṇo 'ati kuryāttasmāt suyuktaṃ samameva dadyāt/
pūrvaṃ hi dadyānmadhu saindhavaṃ tu snehaṃ vinirmathya tato 'anu kalkam//

With too much salt, it produces burning and diarrhea; therefore, one should give it properly balanced.
First, indeed, one should put in honey and rock salt, then unctuous substance after churning, next the paste;
