vāte vivṛddhe tu caturthabhāgo, mātrā nirūheṣu kaphe 'aṣṭabhāgaḥ/
nirūhamātrā prasṛtārdhamādye varṣe tato 'ardhaprasṛtābhivṛddhiḥ//
in aggravated vāta, it is a fourth part; in kapha, the dose in non-unctuous enemas is an eighth part.
The dose of a non-unctuous enema is half a prasṛti in the first year; thereafter, an increase of half a prasṛti [per year]
