The Compendium of Caraka 8.6.24

8.6.24

saṃśodhanābhyāṃ śuddhasya &hṛtadoṣasya dehinaḥ/
&yātyagnirmandatāṃ tasmāt kramaṃ peyādimācaret//

For an embodied being who is cleansed by the two purifications and whose doṣas are eliminated, / the digestive fire becomes weak; therefore, one should adopt the regimen of gruel and so forth.
