pītauṣadho na śuddhaścejjīrṇe tasmin punaḥ pibet/
auṣadhaṃ na tvajīrṇe 'anyadbhayaṃ syādatiyogataḥ//
If one who has drunk the medicine is not cleansed, he should drink the medicine again when it is digested; / but he should not drink another while it is undigested, for fear of excessive application.
