Their manifestations and treatment have been fully explained in the treatises on minor surgery; / an extensive description in the province of another is not approved, therefore no effort of ours is made here. / Thus ends the etiology of eye diseases. / Pitta, along with vāta and the others, burning the scalp, rapidly causes baldness in a person; / but slightly burning, it causes greying and tawny colour of the hair.
