One should cook four palas of cleaned, dry garlic
in eight times as much milk and water, and a man should drink it when the milk remains.
Vāta-lump, upward movement of vāyu, sciatica, intermittent fever,
heart disease, internal abscess, and swelling—that milk cures rapidly.
Thus [ends] Garlic-milk.
Oil, clear wine, cow urine, sour fermented gruel, and barley-ash—
drunk together, it cures abdominal lump, belly disease, and abdominal distension.
Thus [ends] the Five Oils.
With a decoction of the five roots containing alkali, one should drink
śilājatu; by its use one is freed from a vāta-lump.
Thus [ends] the formulation of śilājatu.
Having eaten parched barley paste with soup of pippalī or with radish juice,
unctuous, one is freed from upward movement of vāyu and from vāta-lump.
