kṣāreṇa yuktaṃ palalaṃ sudhākṣīreṇa vā punaḥ .
rudhire'tipravṛtte tu raktapittaharī kriyā .. 98 ..

Sesame paste combined with alkali, or with the milk of spurge, [is applied]; / but when bleeding is excessive, the treatment is that which removes bleeding disease. // 98
