tridoṣaje laṅghanamāditaḥ syā-
dannaṃ ca sarveṣu hitaṃ vidheyam .
hīnādhimadhyatvamavekṣya caiva
kāryaṃ trayāṇāmapi karma śastam .. 12 ..

In the case born of the three doṣas, fasting should be done at the beginning, / and food wholesome in all cases should be prescribed; / and observing the mild, strong, or moderate state [of each doṣa], / the praised treatment for all three should be executed. // 12
