piṣṭvākṣamātrāṇi jalāḍhakena
paktvā ghṛtaprasthamathopayuñjyāt .
arśāṃsi gulmāñchvayathuṃ ca kṛcchraṃ
nihanti vahniṃ ca karoti dīptam .. 30 ..

ground to the measure of an akṣa each, and cooked with an āḍhaka of water
and a prastha of clarified butter, one should then consume it.
It cures haemorrhoids, abdominal lumps, oedema, and dysuria,
and makes the digestive fire blaze. // 30
