40.32

pārṣṇiṃ prati dvādaśa cāṅgulāni
mitvendrabastiṃ parivarjya samyak .
vidārya matsyāṇḍanibhāni vaidyo
nikṛṣya jālānyanalaṃ vidadhyāt .. 32 ..

Having measured twelve finger-breadths from the heel, / strictly avoiding the indrabasti [vital spot], / the physician should incise [the tumours] resembling fish-eggs, / extract the networks, and apply cautery. (32)
