laśunārdrakaśigrūṇāṃ suraṅgyā mūlakasya ca .
kadalyāḥ svarasaḥ śreṣṭhaḥ kaduṣṇaḥ karṇapūraṇe .
samudraphenacūrṇena yuttayā vāpyavacūrṇayet .. 3 ..

The fresh juice of garlic, fresh ginger, śigru, suraṅgī, radish,
and plantain, tepid, is excellent for filling the ear;
or one may dust [the ear] with cuttlefish bone powder mixed with it. (3)
