gṛhadhūmo haridre dve samūlaṃ taṇḍulīyakam .
api vāsakinādaṣṭaḥ pibeddadhi ghṛtāplutam .
kūlikāmūlanasyena kāladaṣṭo'pi jīvati .. 5 ..

Soot, both varieties of turmeric, and whole taṇḍulīyaka with its root— / even if bitten by Vāsuki, one should drink [these with] curd flooded with clarified butter. / By nasal administration of kūlikā root, one lives even when bitten by death itself. // 5
