dharmātsidhyati sarvaṃ
śreyastaddharmasiddhaye kimapi .
śaktyanurūpaṃ dadyā-
ddvijāya santoṣiṇe guṇine .. 54 ..

Since all good is accomplished through dharma, to achieve that dharma / one should give whatever is suitable according to one's capacity / to a contented, virtuous twice-born [Brahmin]. (54)
