ity ete vidhivihitāḥ prasiddhayogāḥ siddhyarthaṃ vinigaditā bhiṣagvarāṇām /
dṛṣṭvaitān katham acikitsako 'pi yuñjyād ity arthaṃ punar api vakṣyate 'tra kiṃcit //

Thus these well-known formulas laid down by rule have been declared for the success of excellent physicians. / Seeing these, so that even a non-physician might apply them, something further will be said here on this matter.
