namaskṛtvā ca manave baddhvā śunakaphelakāḥ /
ye devā devalokeṣu mānuṣeṣu ca brāhmaṇāḥ //

Having bowed to Manu, and having tethered the roguish dogs (sunakaphelaka), and having also bowed to those gods who are in heaven, and to Bráhmans among mankind;
