sarvopajīvakaṃ lokasthitikṛnnītiśāstrakam . dharmārthakāmamūlaṃ hi smṛtaṃ mokṣapradaṃ yataḥ ..

whereas the treatise on polity sustains everyone and maintains the order of the world; / for it is traditionally taught to be the root of righteousness, wealth, and desire, and the giver of liberation.
