yathā rtuliṅgāny ṛtavaḥ svayam eva rtuparyaye
svāni svāny abhipadyante tathā karmāṇi dehinaḥ //
As at the change of the seasons each season of its own accord assumes its distinctive marks, even so corporeal beings (resume in new births) their (appointed) course of action.
