ākāśāt tu vikurvāṇāt sarvagandhavahaḥ śuciḥ
balavāñ jāyate vāyuḥ sa vai sparśaguṇo mataḥ //

But from ether, modifying itself, springs the pure, powerful wind, the vehicle of all perfumes; that is held to possess the quality of touch.
